The Brief
The Onga Pump Shop Website Design project. Pentair have been clients of Red Fred Creative for a number of years. We were extremely pleased to be able to work with them on a new mobile friendly website. The website requirements were extensive and include a
- B2C website
- Product synchronisation with products on Onga.com.au
- Click-and-collect shop allowing the customer to order products and select the most convenient dealer to collect from
- Support national promotions for the Onga Pump Shop brand
The website is also to support the Onga Pump Shop dealer network with a B2B Dealer Merchandise portal.

The Look & Feel
We created a design that made the most of the corporate identity. Creating a B2C website with click-and-collect functionality satisfying user experience for the customers looking for products, the Onga Pump Shop store managers and the central management at Pentair. We believe we succeeded in creating an on-brand, desktop and mobile friendly website to showcase products and assist the channel marketing for their dealer network in making sales and ordering merchandise.

The Solution
We were approached to solve some of their digital communication issues. For the B2C website functionality we utilised WooCommerce on a WordPress platform. We developed a bespoke plugin to synchronise the products from onga.com.au that is using an asp.net platform. The products are categorised logically and link to the click-and-collect functionality integrated to the a dealer locator with clickable map and profiles of every Dealer on a unique page including: location, contact details, dealer description and store images. The competition section of the website displays the products on sale, flip-book catalogue linking to the products, and competition entry forms.
The resulting mobile friendly website design is used as their dealer showcase and competition portal. It provides product and dealer information and features a ‘click and collect’ functionality.
The website contains a dealer portal that provides a unique login for Onga Pump Shop Dealers and the ability for them to browse and order promotional assets and merchandise. The dealer Portal utilises a membership system for access and to display Dealer specific products and ordering still utilising the WooCommerce backend.
