Membership Website for IRSE Australasia
In response to a request from IRSE Australasia, Red Fred Creative was engaged to design a new website. IRSE, the Institute for Railway Signalling Engineers, is a non-profit organisation that provides training, resources, and support to railway signalling engineers globally. The IRSE Australasian Section approached Red Fred Creative as they required a contemporary and professional website that would accurately reflect their services and facilitate user access and navigation.
BRIEF
IRSE Australasia proposed the design and development of a refreshed version of their Australasian website, with the goal of aligning it more closely with their brand and the existing UK site. Key requirements included a streamlined membership application form, an easily accessible resource library for members, and an events feature to showcase both upcoming and past events. The client also wanted a bespoke illustration, a visually engaging design, and an overall improvement in structure and functionality to enhance the user experience.
RESULT
The website effectively achieved its primary objective of presenting the IRSE as a professional and progressive organisation. It fully adhered to the IRSE branding while clearly distinguishing itself from the UK website. The website’s resource display, events calendar, and document management system were user-friendly and intuitive. Additionally, it provided visitors with a comprehensive overview of membership benefits and access to a wealth of valuable information. Furthermore, the website streamlined the registration process and granted logged-in members exclusive access to documents and resources unavailable to non-members.
All of the requirements were met to a high standard and the client was extremely pleased with the result. The outcome is a responsive, future-ready platform for users that supports IRSE Australasia’s mission and enhances their online presence.
